Community Support Weeks 1-3

We've been helping those in our community who need support for the last three weeks. Our pool of staff members and volunteers have really taken the bull by the horns and are absolutely smashing it, we've been blown away by the response from the community and their willingness to help.

In those three weeks here's what we've been working on:
💙 320 calls for support.
💙 121 active and willing volunteers who have taken everything in their stride.
💙 Extending our reach to cover people in Halkirk and West Caithness as well as Thurso.
💙 We've walked dogs, collected medicines, done shopping and offered a listening ear to those who need advice.

Here are the smiling faces of Helen, our Chairperson who offers her personal thanks to the volunteer teams. 👏 It is crucial you're aware that we really could not do this without you. By lending a hand and adhering to government guidelines, you're offering a vital service which is much needed and appreciated.
And Cathy, such a fun loving person with an infectious giggle! She makes us all smile with her positive attitude. Here she is, the fairy from the top of the Christmas tree before and after the New Year Soakin' 😃 Cathy is a volunteer and is in the admin team returning calls to offer support services and works with other volunteers to run errands for those in need.
