We now have Staff operating across two organisations, either working solely on Thurso Community Development Trust projects or employed on the North Highlands & Islands Climate Hub. All of us while working on differerent projects and organisations are very fully part of the Thurso Community Development Trust family.

    Sarah manages our general office management, recording our finances and generally keeping us all right especially when it comes to purchasing.

    Sharon manages the Thurso Grows Community Garden while also managing the community Greenhouses and providing a supportive learning environment.

    CLIMATE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

    Oksana is our lead in the Highland Community Waste Partnership project working on waste reduction initiatives. Oksana also handles our communications from social media, writing press releases to answering the phone and our email queries.

    SHARING SHED CO-ORDINATOR

    Nicky is our Sharing Shed Co-ordinator and manages our Sharing Shed supporting the volunteers and ensuring that the Shed meets all health & safety and food hygiene requirements.

    Daniel joined the gardens team in 2024 and supports the Thurso Grows garden in Ormlie and the Greenhouses project in town.
