Community Support - Weeks 17 & 18

Good morning Thurso! Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. Thank you as always for your continued support, we hope life is begining to look a little more normal for you all. As you might have seen on our social media recently, the network of Covid-19 Community Support we created in March is funded to continue until 30th September. This means, we'll continue in some capacity to support those who need it until that date. We've done another plea for new volunteers this week, if you'd like to join us, you're welcome to sign up here.

Of course we have no idea what the situation will be come the end of September but we live in hope that those currently being supported will feel confident & comfortable to do things independantly.

💙 Delivered 908 hot meals (this brings the total number to over 5000!)

From next week, the hot meals service will reduce from a 5 day operation to a 4 day operation. We've been lucky enough to arrange with the CFINE network to recieve helping hand boxes which we've advertised too. These can be requested or you can nominate someone for a free helping hand food box here.
