Community Support - Weeks 23 & 24

A Sunday morning update on all things community support and general Thurso Community Development Trust goings on!

In community support news, this fortnight our brilliant team of volunteer admins & support crew have delivered:

💙 349 hot meals delivered

💙 87 requests for shopping & prescription deliveres

We've secured funding form The Roberson Trust & Caithness and North Sutherland Fund! This is HUGE news for us and we can't wait to continue to work with and for the people of Thurso with this support 🥳

We're also busy preparing for our Fundraiser today at Thurso Youth Club! Now that charity shops, Thurso Library and children's sporting activities are less restricted, there is less need for our wellbeing packs and instead of keeping all the goodies in storage, we'd like to distribute them to anyone who would like them, for a donation of any size. Do pop down to Thurso Youth Club this afternoon - 6th September 2020 and see what’s available, the team will be there between 12 & 3pm.
