Party Kit Launch

At our first Town Market of Year 2023, we at Thurso Community Development Trust, as a member of Highland Community Waste Partnership, launched our lovely Party Kit!

We were delighted to see how warmly the idea of sharing a party kit, as an alternative to single use partyware, was received by the Town Market visitors! We are fascinated by the amount of interest people have given to it, and very much looking forward to first bookings, which you can conveniently make online at our website here.

Party Kit has everything for you to serve an enjoyable meal at your garden party, picnic, housewarming or perhaps campervan tour, from a few cups to a full dinnerware set with tablecloths and elegant cake stand, and don’t even have to worry about doing the dishes afterwards!

You can hire it from us for your event for a charge ranging from £0 to £20, depending on the number of items you would like to use. This is way cheaper than buying the complete set of single use cups, plates and other tableware. And you are doing the right thing for the planet, preventing generation of hundreds of items to go to waste!

Party Kit Network was originally founded in 2019 in the UK, and now the network has grown to worldwide scale, helping their communities to be more sustainable and green.
