Warmer Homes Scotland is designed to help people make their homes warmer and more comfortable by installing a range of energy saving improvements.
The Scottish Government is offering assistance to homeowners and private sector tenants struggling to heat their home, who have lived in their home for at least twelve months, and who meet the eligibility criteria

Scottish homeowners and private tenants can now claim a 100% funding grant to cover the cost of an air source heat pump and wall insulation.
Eligible households can reduce their heating bills by up to 60% under the new grant scheme.

The Home Heating Support Fund seeks to provide financial relief to energy consumers who are experiencing significant financial hardship and strives to provide this support to households regardless of the fuel or payment method used.
That is, the project is inclusive of: users of prepayment meters, district heating networks and unregulated fuels.

Help to Buy Windows are helping those in need save money and keep their homes warm by installing free energy-efficient double-glazed windows and doors.
To qualify your home’s windows and doors must be over five years old, you need to be a homeowner, not a council or housing association, and you must be either employed, self-employed, or retired.

The Government has a free boiler replacement grant scheme for people in Scotland.
If eligible you will be able to replace your old boiler with a new, energy efficient one and reduce your heating bills.
You must be a homeowner in Scotland, have a boiler that is older than 8 years, be claiming income related benefits, and have a mains gas supply.

Funded by the Scottish Government, the interest-free loan is to create warmer homes that are cheaper to run across the whole of Scotland.
The amount that you can borrow is dependent on what home improvement or installation you want, with maximum funding reaching £38,500 per home.
If you are a homeowner in Scotland, you can apply for this home energy loan.
If you are building your own home, you may be eligible for the loan to help pay for home renewable systems or energy storage systems.
Landlords, businesses, and property developers cannot apply for the Home Energy Scotland Loan.
Before applying for this loan, you will need to obtain a quote from an installer to support your application.
