#HILocal

Our Zero Waste shop run by community for community.

Focus on local organic produce and support to local growers and farmers is always in the centre of the shop’s ethos.

Socially Growing is not only a shop to buy your food and other products responsibly but also a place where you can come for a chat. The shop’s friendly staff and volunteers are always up for a craic.

They will grind you your coffee beans and they make splendid nut butters of various kinds, just choose your favourite.

During growing season, the shop is always in abundant supply of seasonal vegetables and plants grown within another Socially Growing project - Community Greenhouses. Delicious tomatoes, cucumbers, greens for your salads, courgettes, aromatic herbs and many more. And those house plants are charming!

Local small businesses such as growers, foragers, beekeepers, bakers and farmers are well presented in Socially Growing stock and are in high demand with Caithness community.

Most of the products come in reusable packaging or not packed at all. Socially Growing do their best to reduce carbon footprint by sourcing their stock as locally as possible and from sustainable and responsible suppliers.
