We will fill this day with walks, collecting natural materials, crafting, communicating with like-minded people and enjoying great home-grown and home-cooked food provided by our lovely hosts - The Forse of Nature Cafe.
Programme of the event:
12:00 - 14:30 - Foraging walk and making twig basket
14:30 - 15:30 - Lunch break
15:30 - 18:00 - Foraging walk and eco-printing
We shall start the day with foraging for twigs in the stunning gardens and grounds at Forse of Nature.
We will use them to make a twig basket. It is a useful survival skill for the cases when you need to collect something and you don’t have any carrier bag with you. Baskets made in this technique are very pretty and can be used as a part of interior design, but also they are functional and can be utilized as a planter at the garden.
Once our basket is ready, we’ll go for a foraging walk to collect leaves and flowers for our next workshop - eco printing! Using only natural tools and materials, we will make charming post card or a wall art.
Your booking fee includes lunch consisting of soup and cake and hot drinks throughout the day.
