We shall learn how to make wet felted slippers from sheep wool while having a walk!
The type of felting that we will practice is for beginners and requires no skill or previous experience in felting! Hence, please allow for imperfections of the slippers that will come out as a result.
All you need is wide fit wellies, a bit of soap and a couple of hours! Please also fetch a towel and a couple of plastic bags large enough to go over your feet.
This walk will be held in Dunnet forest and will start and finish at the cabin by the forest car park.
The workshop is delivered by wonderful Garance Warburton, Dunnet Forest Development Officer with Dunnet Forestry Trust.
Booking is essential, please fill in the form below.
Children are welcome, accompanied by a responsible adult.
The workshop is free and fully funded by Highland Community Waste Partnership.
