All Fuss About The Grass Newtonhill

£3.00

Are you tired of mowing your lawn?

Do you want to stop wasting your money and time on keeping it neat?

Are you passionate about wildlife and biodiversity?

We are inviting you to Thurso Community Gardens to talk about low-maintenance, sustainable and wildlife-friendly alternatives to endless Caithness lawns.

You'll get tips and techniques from the Species on the Edge team on how to encourage and sustain wildlife in your garden for the benefit of the wider environment.

We shall make a mini alternative lawn in a container to practice and take home. Please reuse a suitable container (trough or large shallow pot) that you have, bring your own gardening gloves and trowel, and we'll provide plants and compost.

Refreshments and snacks included!

We are looking forward to seeing you at Newtonhill Woodland Community Cottage (Newtonhill Community Woodland, near Wick, KW1 5SB), on Saturday, the 12th of August 2023, 14:00 - 16:00.
